swissolar

Swissolar is the Swiss professional association for solar energy. It represents the interests of around 500 members and 7500 jobs in the Swiss solar energy industry in public, politics and towards the regulatory authority. Swissolar calls for the increase of solar use in Switzerland, whether in the form of solar heat for hot water and heating, solar electricity or through applying the principles of solar construction.

In view of their strong commitment to sustainable development, Swissolar supports the Active Interfaces project by participating in the Advisory board of the research project. The main purpose is to feed the project's development process with the perspective of a professional stakeholder working in the field of solar energy. In addition, technical information will be made available to the Active Interfaces partners and access to relevant data will be facilitated.
